It officially feels like winter now. It's FREEZING! We've had tons of snow the last few days and have been trying to ward off the chills with lots of hot soup and cocoa. You can tell it's the end of the semester, because Shaun is getting to the point of complete exhaustion, and it's rubbing off on me. So. Tired.
We have a few little tidbits of news to share:
We have a few little tidbits of news to share:
- Friday and Saturday Shaun had 3 concerts with Men's Chorus, so I didn't see much of him except for at the concert I went to (with the Barlows and Ronaldo!). It was a beautiful concert (all of the BYU audition choirs and the AMAZING philharmonic orchestra). Speaking of Shaun and choir and such, he auditioned for an open spot in concert choir and got a call-back for another round, which we took as good news. Go Shaun! I'll let you know if he's in =)
- Sunday we went to my cousin Ashley's house for dinner with her husband, kids, and parents (my very cool uncle and aunt!) and had the best time ever. Some pictures can be found here =) We stayed and talked forever, and had so much fun we really didn't want to leave. Her girls are complete sweethearts, and they are awesome parents. Ashley is pregnant with their third, and she is so beautiful. She and Jed are so fun. We loved every minute there.
- We're getting so pumped about Christmas. It'll be an extra big gathering this year, with my parents and all of my siblings, one of my cousins, and an exchange student from China. Can't wait!

I seriously miss going to the BYU concerts... they were always SO good, and so cheap! Tell Shaun AWESOME job on the call-back, and thanks for sharing his talents so that untalented people like me can enjoy it!
I'm glad that you called the Phil amazing :) Those concerts were always very good. Good luck to Shaun for Concert choir!
I'm happy to hear the concert is a success. Go Shaun! It's been really cold here too. Hope you don't turn into a popsicle! :o)
The concerts sound wonderful, I always enjoy the old school clips they show of the Men's Chorus right as the girls and I are snuggling in to watch Little House on the Prairie while dinner is cooking. Perhaps 10 years from now we may see clips of Shaun. :)
Your comments make me glow. We had a most excellent time as well. And were so glad you could come.
Also I am so excited for you to be able to go home for Christmas. There is no place like home. I hope you are enjoying all of your soup and hot cocoa, as for myself it is Spiced Cider as the drink of choice. And I am most curious how the diction test went.
